Bonham auction - 29th June 2016

After Bamfords nipped in earlier this month an stole Bonhams thunder, it’s now time for the summer Film and Entertainment auction at Bonhams in Knightsbridge.

There is a mix of new items; some items previously sold; and some items from previous sales that went unsold, now listed with lower estimates.

For the Tenth Doctor it’s an item previously sold at auction; for Sarah Jane Adventures its an item new to auction; and for Torchwood it’s items that went unsold last time they appeared for sale.

As 2015 draws to a close, it’s time for the end of year Entertainment Memorabilia sale at Bonhams.

Bonhams auction - 24th June 2015

It’s that time of year again and Bonhams are due to hold their latest Entertainment Memorabilia sale in London.

Usually it has a good showing of Doctor Who related items, but this time around it’s a poor offering of only three items, all from series three.

Lot 123 
Daleks In Manhattan/Evolution Of The Daleks, 2007,
Andrew Garfield as Frank
a complete costume, comprising;
a flat cap of brown tweed, a khaki wool jacket with pleated breast pocket, a cream shirt with blue and brown stripe, a pair of fingerless gloves, a cream coloured cotton vest bearing several labels inside, a pair of brown wool trousers with braces and a pair of brown leather boots with inscribed label inside 'Frank', with original BBC returns bag (11)

Provenance: Ex-lot 167, Entertainment Memorabilia, Bonhams Knightsbridge, 15th December 2011. Sold for £400 at that time.

Although relatively unknown when starring in this 2007 episode of Doctor Who, Andrew Garfield has more recently starred in The Social Network, Never Let Me Go and as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Bonhams auction - 25th June 2014

It’s that time of the year again and another Bonhams Entertainment Memorabilia auction is looming.

There are a number of Doctor Who, Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures items on offer.

Since the spin-off series are contemporary to the Tenth Doctor era, I’m listing the items here.
